This brought out the question in my heart, why am I where I work? and that's the same question I want you my reader to ask your self today, "Why am I here?", what's the reason you are where you are right now, I mean in terms of your core function or responsibility, Myles Munroe said "when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable".
Myles Munroe said "when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable."A lot of people have forgotten the reason they are where they are, their first call of action, the essence of their being involved in the activity they are doing. For instance, the core essence of a chorister in church is to first offer his life, ability, emotion, personality to God as a living sacrifice then to minister to others, most times the reverse is the case.
Let take few scenarios, the reason an account is in the office is first to keep records of accounting and not majorly to secure funds, the function of a pastor in a church is first to serve God, and lead others to God's kingdom, not to collect money and hammer on tithes and offering, the reason a student is in school is to learn and become useful to himself and the entire world starting from his family but not to hang out with friends, the reason God created marriage is first for companionship other things follow not to produce children like some thought, this list is endless.
So let me ask you, why are you there? Why are you in that office? Why are you in that Church? Why are you in that Relationship? Why are you in that business? Why are you in that group? why are you in this wold? Why are you... you can fill in the gap.
Do you mind leaving a word for me, it will be well appreciated.
