Words of Wisdom

Got this from a friend today (thanks to Bodunde) and I felt I should share with everyone.

Someone has written these beautiful words. Read and try to understand the deeper meaning of them.

1. Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout life.

2. Why is a car's windshield so large & the rear view mirror so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, look ahead and move on.

3. Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes a few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4. All things in life are temporary. If they are going well, enjoy them, they will not last forever. If they are going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either.

 

 



5. Old friends are gold! New friends are diamond! If you get a diamond, don't forget the gold! To hold a diamond, you always need a base of gold!

 

6. Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, "Relax, sweetheart; it's just a bend, not the end!"

7. When God solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when God doesn't solve your problems, He has faith in YOUR abilities.

8. A blind person asked God: "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"

9. When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

10. Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles; it takes away today's PEACE.

Do you heed to Instructions

Hi my friends, what a great week, I trust God to bring out the best in us this week.

You know I was was looking at the scriptures this morning and this verse jumped at me, though was talking to me, yet I believe it will speak to you as well, don't forget it is spirit and life.

Proverbs 29:1 reads thus "He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy"[King James Version]

What a word, my question to you this morning is what is it God has been talking to you about that you refused or been reluctant to do?

As an individual, in what ways have you been corrected and reproved, yet you have refused? I guess its important you quickly listen and yield to the corrections.

The same reason that will make an unbeliver loose heaven or that will make a student who has refused to study for his exams fail is the same reason that he who refuses instruction and hardens his heart will be destroyed utterly and hello guess what it is without remedy.



Hello friends, you know what amazed me is that the destruction will not just happen, it will be sudden and is without remedy.
I believe you don't want to tell sad stories, so what are we talking about. Heed to instruction and be free from sudden destruction that has no remedy.

It is a great day for you, please take a look at your life and get the best out of your decisions. You know it can either make or mar you.

God Will Always Be With Me!

This was the take out from the words I heard yesterday in Church, it's actually an excerpt from the message preached by Pastor (Dr.) Johny J. Udofa, the District Pastor of The Gospel Faith Mission, Int'l, Lekki Ditrict. Chapel of Glory Assembly.

The title of the message is "God will always by with you". In the message I got to understand that there are words of God spoken about us and and one of the words that is constant and said about us is that God will always be with His people.

The first question I will ask you the reader of today's article is "Are you part of God's people?" if not, you have to be one because the promise is for God's people.

It's simple becoming God's people, it's stated already in the scriptures (Jer 7:23 KJV)  But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

So what this implies is that you become God's people when you obey His voice and what His voice says to us expressly is clearly stated in (Joh 3:16 KJV)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. It means when you give your life to Christ, you become God's own people.

Now, talking about God being with you, since you have accepted Christ, then be ready to enjoy His word to you. Read with me the promise of God for you in (Isa 41:10 KJV) 

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

God does not only promise being with you, He also say that you will not be dismayed, don't be intimidated and the only reason is not far fetched, He's your God, He also promised that He will strengthened you and that He will help you and finally He promised to support you, no matter what you are going through He has promised to be there for you.

Don't you think you will be missing so much if you don't have a relationship with God, I suggest it's high time you had a relationship with him. Say this "Lord Jesus, am willing to be one of your people, I love you to be my God, please Come and save and deliver me from the power of sin, I confess my sins (mention and anything bad you are doing) and please come into my heart and be my God. I know you have done it, please also write my name in the book of life, in Jesus name. Amen".

If you have a relationship with God, really you are not limited by anything you can enjoy all these good things, keep enjoying and blossom in His words, grace and joy.

It's your time to shine, start enjoying the best God has for you, it's your season of refreshment!

What Distracts You?

This morning while on our way to work, we were listening to a programme on radio and the things I was able to pick from the programme is what I want to share with my readers today.

You know, everyday we set out to go to work or our businesses, we have a lot of things on our mind, most especially things we would love to accomplish before the day runs out; But it's unfortunate that not all those things we plan to do we achieve and as a result we are limited one way or the other, we are not fulfilled, because fulfillment only happen when we have achieved all the set goals we have outlined.

So the question is what distracts you? A lot of things distracts many people and I like to discuss some things that came to mind.

Friends/Colleagues: An executive or manager as they are called in the offices, gets to the office and after settling down or even before settling down got engaged with a chat with friends about the activities that happened the previous day, spots, politics, movie watched etc. and before knowing it, the time is gone and really some times they should have invested in profitable jobs have been spent on chats.

Internet/Chats: Lots of people on a daily basis focus more on chats applications on their mobile devices and this is a lot of distraction from doing the needful everyday, most especially when everyone here in my country wants to be on BBM, it's quick, fast, easy to share and read, and before you know it, this eats into their midnight and they don't have enough rest for the next working day, are you guilty? Please watch it.

Sleep: It's not a crime to sleep, but it's a crime to over sleep, when you use the whole of your night sleeping, you wake up in the morning and after eating very heavy food, you sleep again, well I will like to advice someone today that, you need to watch yourself, know what gets you into sleep anytime you do it, is it stress, food or even argument? Just help yourself.

Games: Some are so addicted to games, I was in the banking hall yesterday, going to pick up some cash to purchase some items for the office, while on queue, I heard a lady whispering to the sound of the game she was playing, she totally forgot she was in the banking hall distracting people that are in there to do their business, what am I saying in essence? games so distracts people from fulfilling their obligations daily and then they postpone what should be done today, till tomorrow, hello! you are just wasting your life, please kindly change if you are involved in this, you need to get hold of your future from now.

Friends the list is endless, what exactly distracts you, that girl, boy, colleague of yours, your pals and peeps, what ever, it is or they are, know today that your life tomorrow is dependent on whether you spend or invest it today.

God Will Give You Your Own Field

Hi Friends today,

Today I will do more of prayer for someone and I believe everyone needs to pray, my prayer for someone is that the Lord will give you your own field.

A lot of people may not understand when I pray "that the Lord will give you your own field" let me throw light into what I mean.

So What's Your Field:
Your field is that area of life that God has designed for you to prosper, it's the area of life that God has blessed for you and that when you go into such field you will find it easy and interesting, it will be yours truly, because God has made it a blessed field just for you and you will be operating in favour and not labour.

A lot of people pray everyday as they go out, that they will accomplish their daily plans and that they should find success in what they lay their hands upon, some see it happen others do not, while others see it happen with lots of sweat and stress, others find it so easy.

For those that find it so easy, the reason is not far fetched, it's just because they are in their own God given field, I can perceive in my heart that as you read this article, the Lord is speaking to your heart on the right right thing to do in life that will make you accepted and not just tolerated.

I wish everyone could just open God's heart to see exactly what God has called us into, this will make it easy for you to locate your field, but it doesn't work that way, you need to really sit down inquire of God, listen and receive from Him and then move into that field of yours.

Now let me say to you that, it's not until you have fasted and pray, gone to one mountain or the other before you get what field you should be, it comes in like a whisper in your heart, you could get it from the word of God, you could get it while praying or even worshiping God and Psalms and songs, or God could minister to you while you hear His word and even as you read this. All am saying is, it could come anywhere, anytime and anyhow, just be ready to receive it.

Let me also put this point down that the field could be an existing field where in which people have played already. Finance, Health, Humanity, Technology, Commerce, Geography etc; it could also be new field entirely that anyone in this world have ever thought about. Though every new invention or career comes from what has existed in the past known or unknown.

My prayer again is that God will give you your own field where you will be fruitful.

Few things about your field.
1. It is blessed by God
2. You make impact to your world without stress
3. You become a source of blessing to others
4. Things work for you and it is like you are the one that has all the success.
5. Your generations to come will never lack nor become poor forever

Pray this prayer now.
Lord God Almighty, the owner of life, the father of light, please pure out your light into my heart, open my mind and let me understand what exactly you want me to be, you want me to do, and give me the grace to pursue it. Oh God please help me to understand exactly what to do, how to do it, give me the courage to take a step at a time even when it is hard or not pleasant. I thank you because you are always ready and willing to help me. In Jesus name I prayed. Amen.

So Much Love!

I got this Broadcast some days back and I thought I should share it with everyone.

Malachi 3:3 says: 'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.


As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.


The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.' She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.


The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'


He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'
If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.


You can share this link with every one that's important in your life. This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them and, whatever they're going through, they'll be a better person in the end.

What Do You About Them?

Some times back I was on my way to Enugu for an official assignment and so I went to the airport to book a flight the night prior to the day. When I got there I met a lady at the Airport, she's actually the Guest Manager for that evening, so I approached her asking her some questions about the flights that will be available for the next morning, while she was answering me, I asked if she could help out with booking, then she introduced a man to me who eventually did the transaction.

While waiting to get the flight details and payment made to the man, we got chatting and I was asking her a lot of questions and she answered, very well, wow! I said to my self, this is a kind of a different fella and then that was how our friendship started.

Today, if I will travel anywhere, she does the booking, some times I even pay later. What am I trying to say? Am saying those people you meet  on your day to day activities what do you do about them? do you keep them for life like my MD will say, "We are in the business of keeping customers for life for our clients". And that's it.

We should learn to cherish people that comes our way, most especially the relationship we've had with them, they are unique people and so we should treat them that way some might be bad to us, never mind win them over with love. "Do to others what you will like them do to you".
